Karen joined Boost Collaborative Children and Family Support Services in 2015. She has served as our Family Resources Coordinator and as our Child Development Specialist for the past five years. She was recently hired as our Program Director of Children and Family Support Services. Karen has her master’s degree in Family Consumer Sciences from the University of Idaho with an education focus on child development, parenting children with special needs and the parent-child relationship. She has worked with children and families for over 20 years and is dedicated to the continued work of supporting families and children with disabilities and developmental delays through early intervention services. She is passionate about the mission of Boost Collaborative and wants to support families who have a child with disabilities feel comfortable and confident in participating in the Palouse community and accessing services and supports for their child. In her free time, Karen likes to spend time with her family, read, be outdoors and play games with family and friends.
