Boost Collaborative is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3), agency that fulfills an important purpose in the communities around the Palouse of serving children with special needs ages birth through 3 years, and youth and adults with disabilities ages 16 years and older.
Our motto of “Empowering people with disabilities on the Palouse” is achieved through the work of caring staff who identify the unique needs of each person served and helps them to attain goals that improve their functional development or employment status.
Our Mission reads:
Through meaningful education, employment, and support, Boost Collaborative will engage individuals with disabilities in order to promote full participation in community life.
Boost Collaborative is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors representative of the business community, families that we serve and parents or advocates of adults with intellectual disabilities.
Funding is obtained through fee for service contracts with local and state governments, school districts, United Way support and private donations from friends of Boost Collaborative. Accreditation agencies, such as the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (carf) provide standards and best practices in our service industry.
We value individualized services, community inclusion, and life-long learning.
