Fred has been an employee at the Washington State University, Dining Services for 20 years.
Fred began back in 2001 working at the Cub organizing towels, cleaning tables and chairs, filling and maintain ice bins, and putting supplies in their proper place. Fred moved to Southside Dining in 2010 and throughout his time he always received very high marks on his evaluations, maintains his Food Handlers certifications. Fred moved up to become a Food Service Worker #1. Today Fred not only manages the dish machine, he oversees tables and puts away all clean dishes and pans. Fred occasionally has to assist in teaching others to do their job in the dish room. Fred is a great contributor to the team atmosphere and highly valued for his ability to make everyone around him happy. Fred can be counted on, his coworkers tell us that his attitude rubs off which helps others have a happier outlook, he’s a reliable part of the team that makes things work at Southside Dining!
